A strong light pulse is applied to the area being treated, while the skin surface is cooled by a contact hand-held applicator.

Damaged melanin is reabsorbed by the lymphatic system and stimulates fibroblasts in the skin to create new collagen and elastin.

New collagen and elastin tighten the skin, improve the appearance of the skin and pores, and enable a youthful appearance.

Laser rejuvenation treatment reduces facial redness, the appearance of open pores, skin roughness and shallow wrinkles, and firms the skin and whitens freckles.

Before treatment, the skin must be thoroughly cleaned and dried, make-up, creams, oils, topical anesthetics and/or self-tanning products must be removed. If you are not able to clean your skin before the treatment, our medical cosmetologists at the Polyclinic will do it.

It is recommended to use a protective factor on the face daily in the period before the treatment.

Using the laser on sun-kissed or sun-damaged skin can lead to skin damage.

It is recommended that you undergo a HydraFacial treatment during your previous visits to the Polyclinic, which will gently and painlessly remove the top layer of skin and dead cells in a controlled manner.

Hyaluron-based gel is applied in thicker layers to the skin and eye protection is applied. Lasers are used in systematic sequences to treat different layers of the skin.

On the device itself, the medical cosmetologist, or rather, the doctor, selects one of the programs he wants to use, selects the client’s skin type and the laser power itself.

A slight tingling sensation will be felt on some parts of the body, which is why quick movements with the applicator are required.

The applicator is used in quick movements, which create strong light pulses. At the same time, the applicator cools down.

At the end of the treatment, the gel is removed, the skin is cleaned again with cold water and gently dried with a soft paper towel.

After the treatment, the area exposed to the laser will be slightly red, but the redness will subside shortly after the treatment.

Most patients’ skin calms down completely overnight and they can apply standard skin care products and makeup the very next day.

After treatment, it is necessary to avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7-10 days and to avoid rubbing the face when cleansing for several days.

In case the skin has not immediately calmed down, soap should not be applied directly to the treated area.

It is advisable to avoid toners, various serums, scrubs, and heavy makeup until the skin has completely calmed down.

For a more comfortable and faster recovery, it is possible to apply ice, or a cold compress, to the problem area.

After treatment, it is necessary to avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7-10 days and to avoid rubbing the face when cleansing for several days. Regardless of short-term or long-term sun exposure, it is necessary to apply a protective cream with an SPF 50+ factor to the face.

In case of skin redness, it is not advisable to apply soap directly to the treated area.

For a more comfortable and faster recovery, it is possible to apply ice, or a cold compress, to the problem area.

There are no contraindications for laser skin rejuvenation, but we advise that if you have certain skin problems, you should definitely consult a medical cosmetologist before the treatment.
