Micropigmentation of eyelids, eyebrows and lips

Micropigmentation is the perfect way to highlight natural facial features, without the need for daily makeup.

Using premium Long Time Liner natural pigments, our experts apply a precise technique to create a permanent, natural look for your lips, eyebrows and eyelids.

At the Bagatin Polyclinic, we approach each client individually, taking into account the wishes, but also the specifics of your face, in order to achieve perfect results that last.

Description of the procedure

Micropigmentation is the ideal solution for women who want to save time, improve their appearance and achieve long-lasting results.

With the LONG-TIME-LINER® Conture® Make Up technique, your makeup becomes long-lasting and resistant to all external influences, including sweat, rain and smog. The result is a natural, yet long-lasting look that does not require daily touch-ups.

Micropigmentation is a method of pigmentation using an ultra-thin needle. It is done with a very thin needle on a very small surface, which is why the results are very precise. The most popular procedures are drawing the lips, which gives them a decent volume, drawing the eyes in the form of putting a narrow line on the eyelid to give visual volume to the eyelashes (the so-called douche drawing), or correction of the eyebrows, which gives the face character.

The method is clinically tested, medically recognized and approved according to the EFDS European standard. The system itself was developed in collaboration with scientists and dermatologists to meet the high aesthetic demands of clients around the world. It is defined by innovative permanent makeup methods, extremely well-tolerated colors, cutting-edge technologies for particularly gentle application, and experts who have undergone very strict and extensive training.

Advantages:

  • long-lasting results – durability and natural appearance that lasts from 1 to 3 years
  • speed and convenience – no need for daily makeup
  • carefully selected materials – only the highest quality pigments and technology

The difference between Japanese eyebrow drawing and permanent makeup

Japanese eyebrow drawing is performed by creating lines on the skin with a knife, which are then filled with pigment, while in the process of applying permanent makeup, pigment is precisely introduced into the skin. The creation of lines on the skin can lead to inflammation, and since the cut is superficial, the pigment washes off much faster. ‘Japanese’ eyebrow tattooing can last up to a year, while eyebrow shaping with permanent makeup results in permanence for up to two years.

There is also a microblading eyebrow filling technique on the market, which also involves drawing eyebrows with a knife for fullness and thickness.

Candidates

Eyebrow and eyelid correction, as well as lip correction, although their aesthetic effect is very individual, they suit every skin type and look absolutely natural.

The treatment is not performed on pregnant women.

Preparation

No special preparation is required.

For people who have herpes and want to draw lips and eyebrows, it is necessary to take the therapy 3 days before the actual treatment.

Procedure progress

The first step is a consultation, where the client is informed about the course of the treatment and the desired shape of the permanent makeup is agreed upon. During the consultation, the desired shape is drawn, among other things. Then the color of the permanent makeup is selected. The color palette includes tones from natural to the most modern shades that adapt to the client’s complexion.

The treatment lasts 3 hours.

When permanent makeup is done on the lips, they are first disinfected, and then an anesthetic is applied to them to minimize any pain. The next step is to draw the edge with a special pencil that will not cause an allergic reaction and can go under the skin at the same time. Pigment is inserted into the second layer of the skin, surgically, by means of an ultra-thin needle, which actually pigments the desired surface, or more precisely, begins micropigmentation with needles. The LONG-TIME-LINER® Conture® Make up method uses the ‘full-lip-shading’ technique to pigment two thirds of the lips, and as a result, full and perfectly shaped lips are obtained in the selected shade.

Lip contouring involves an anesthetic, which makes the procedure painless.

The process of drawing eyebrows is the same.

To begin with, two to three initial treatments are performed several weeks apart. Permanent make-up, or the effect of permanent make-up, lasts from 3 to 5 years.

For eyelids and lips, a refresh process is necessary. More precisely, permanent makeup needs to be renewed every 3 to 5 years, depending on the intensity and wishes of the clients themselves.

Permanent eyebrows are a little more demanding, the renewal procedure is done every year for a maximum of 2 years.

Recovery

After a micropigmentation treatment, the treated area requires special attention and high-quality care. Mild swelling may occur on the lips and/or eyelids, which subsides within a few hours (approximately 2 hours).

It is sufficient to apply a cream intended to alleviate inflammatory skin processes twice a day one day after the treatment.

The next 3-5 days are spent epithelizing the skin, or peeling.

After the first treatment, 40% of the pigment is lost, so the color becomes lighter, softer and more pleasing to the eye.

Precautions

After treatment, lips and eyebrows should not be exposed to the sun immediately and must be cared for with antibiotic creams.

The treated area should not be wetted and the sauna should not be used for at least 10 days.

Price

The package includes two corrective treatments (if needed), within a period of 3 months.

Frequently asked questions

1. How long does micropigmentation last?

The durability of micropigmentation depends on various factors, including skin type, sun exposure, lifestyle habits, and aftercare. It usually lasts from 1 to 3 years, but over time the color may fade, requiring occasional touch-ups.

2. Is micropigmentation painful?

An anesthetic cream is applied to the treated area to minimize any pain.

3. How long does the micropigmentation procedure take?

Before the procedure, it is recommended to avoid sunbathing, using treatments that may irritate the skin (such as peeling), or using harsh chemicals on the skin for a few days before micropigmentation.

Also, if you have any skin conditions or infections, it is best to wait until you are healed.

4. Will micropigmentation look natural?
