Breast lift
Pregnancy, lactation and the force of gravity over the years affect the appearance of women's breasts. Due to the loss of elasticity of the skin, breasts are changing their appearance and firmness and begin to descend. Breast lift, or Mastopexy is a surgical method which gives breasts a new look, strength and position. In some cases in the Poliklinika Bagatin, breast lift is done in combination with implants to increase the volume of the breasts. Silicone implants are widely used in order to obtain better results in conjunction with Mastopexy.
Breast reduction
Breast reduction surgery or reduction mammoplasty is an operative procedure that removes a greater amount of tissue in the breast. This operation is done for aesthetic and functional reasons. A person with large breasts often suffers from neck pain and back pain, difficulty when moving, cannot play sports and has inflammation of the skin under the breasts. It also leaves impact on the spine and occurrence of pain in the neck.
Male breast reduction
The term gynecomastia comes from the Greek "gyne" which means "breasts as in women." Gynecomastia is a benign increase in male breast resulting from hypertrophy or increased glandular breast parenchyma and accumulation of subcutaneous fat deposits. Gynecomastia can sometimes manifest secretion of small amounts of milk or a similar discharge. Statistically, one of three men who are younger than 40 years suffers from some degree of gynecomastia, and above the age of fifty almost half of men have enlarged male breasts.
