One of the most sought-after aesthetic procedures in Croatia, but also in the world, is certainly nose surgery, known as rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty solves aesthetic problems of the nose, such as a hump in profile, size and width, and the shape and position of the tip of the nose. <\/p>\n

Thanks to the development of technology and medicine itself, patients today recover from nose surgery much faster and are more satisfied with the results. This is made possible by preservation rhinoplasty<\/strong> , that is, as many call it, rhinoplasty of the 21st century. <\/p>\n

Although it has only been talked about in the last few years, we have been using preservation rhinoplasty at the Bagatin Polyclinic for the last three years. The reason for this is that patients recover faster and experience significantly less pain, bruising, and swelling, but above all \u2013 this method of rhinoplasty preserves the nasal structures to the maximum extent possible. <\/p>\n

During advanced conservative rhinoplasty, a Piezo saw is used to correct the bony part of the nose and is most useful in correcting the profile of the nose. The Piezo saw uses an ultrasonic shaping technique and is equipped with a variety of different attachments to make the corrections as precisely as possible. During the removal of the bone part, or hump, trauma is reduced, healing is accelerated, and the possibility of visible irregularities in the nasal pyramid that create asymmetries is reduced. <\/p>\n

In this way, in addition to preserving the structure of the nose itself, we also work to preserve soft tissues such as nerves and blood vessels. As a result, the patient’s recovery will take less time. <\/p>\n
