After a difficult pregnancy and a C-section, my body completely changed. I was 20 when I had my son, I supported and raised him alone for many years, and I wouldn’t trade anything in the world for the relationship we have. Still, every time I looked in the mirror, I wished my body looked different. <\/p>\n

Excess skin and sagging breasts took a toll on my self-confidence. I wanted to give myself a chance to be happy and content and not hide my body. And my son encouraged me to do something good for myself. <\/p>\n
When I found out I had been selected for the Extreme Makeover, I couldn’t believe it was happening to me. I came to the Bagatin Polyclinic for a consultation with Dr. Dinko Bagatin, where I told him what problems were bothering me and what I wanted to improve about myself. <\/p>\n
The doctor was very accommodating. In consultation with the doctor, it was decided that we would have three procedures \u2013 VASERlipo ultrasound liposuction<\/strong> of the abdomen, hips, lower back and arms, abdominoplasty<\/strong> to remove excess skin, and a breast<\/strong> augmentation and lift<\/strong> to restore them to their original shape before pregnancy and breastfeeding. Dr. Bagatin explained to me how liposuction would give me better body definition that had been lost after giving birth. <\/p>\n

This combination of procedures is also called a ‘mom makeover’.<\/p>\n
Even though I was scared before the surgery itself, I was calmed down by the doctor of anesthesiology, Dr. Judith Adrianne Deutsch, who answered all my questions related to anesthesia so that the entire process of being put to sleep went as smoothly as possible, as did the surgery.<\/p>\n

The recovery from the surgery was easier than I expected. The pain I felt was similar to the pain after overexerting my muscles in the gym. Also, for several months I slept exclusively on my back, wore a corset, and followed the instructions I received from the doctor. I went to regular check-ups to monitor my recovery. Dr. Bagatin, as well as the Polyclinic staff, were extremely kind and accommodating. <\/p>\n
Today I am a different woman, full of confidence and finally feeling good about my own body. This whole experience has changed my life for the better and I am so happy I signed up for the Makeover. <\/p>\n
